Mahsa Amini was a 22-year-old Iranian girl who suffered a skull fracture and brain death on 22 September 1401 after being arrested by the Guidance Patrol in Tehran, as a result of the beatings of the Guidance Patrol officers and the Moral Security Police of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Mahsa Amini died three days later, on 25 Shahrivar 1401, due to the severity of the injuries caused by the blows inflicted in Tehran's Kasri Hospital.[7][8] His death caused widespread reactions and protests in different parts of Iran and the world.[9] [10] The reactions to his killing in Iranian cities and cyber space caused him to break the world record of Twitter history. His murder has become the basis for widespread protests against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Life
Mahsa (zhina) Amini was born in 1379 in a Kurdish family in Saqqez. Before his death, he had just been admitted to university and had a brother named Arash.

arrest
Mahsa Amini had traveled to Tehran with his family in Shahrivar 1401 to visit his relatives. Mahsa was arrested by Irshad patrol officers at around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 22 Shahrivar, near the Shahid Haqqani metro station located on the Shahid Haqqani highway, while he was with his brother. After his brother Kiaresh Amini protested, he was told that Mahsa was taken to the detention center to undergo a "briefing class" and would be released in an hour.
Mahsa Amini died three days later, on 25 Shahrivar 1401, in Kasri hospital. Two hours after Mahsa Amini was arrested and transferred to Tehran's moral security police building on Vezara street, she suffered brain death due to injuries to her skull and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. He was admitted to Kasari Hospital. When his brother was waiting for his sister in front of the building, he saw an ambulance leaving the building. He asks one of the soldiers about the reason for the ambulance leaving the building, when he is told that one of the soldiers was injured. After showing her sister's photo to other girls released from the detention center, she finds out that the ambulance was carrying Mehsa's half-life body.

According to the report that has reached the informed sources from Kesrai Hospital in Tehran, Mahsa was medically dead as soon as he arrived at the hospital. He was brain dead due to a severe blow to his head. Mozhgan Eftekhari, Mahsa's mother, said shortly before Mahsa's death: "She was completely healthy before her arrest."
Reactions to the killing of Mahsa
The arrest and beating of Mahsa Amini by the Ershad Police and her coma caused public anger in the society and social networks. His death caused widespread reactions at the domestic and international level. Many Iranian and international politicians, artists, personalities, parties and institutions reacted to it, and many artists and athletes cut off their connection with the Islamic Republic of Iran's radio and television and sports teams. Mahsa-Amini hashtag on Twitter broke the history of hashtags on this site and was used more than 200 million times until October 9.

Cutting hair
A number of Iranian women cut their hair in protest against the death of Mahsa Amini in a symbolic gesture, expressing anger and mourning. Gisobaran religion is one of the ancient traditions of ancient Iranians.
Burning scarf
The campaign of burning a scarf as a symbol of hijab as a sign of opposition to the mandatory hijab occurred in the protests after the killing of Mahsa Amini. This symbolic move has been met with many reactions. Many women took off their headscarves in the protests and some burned their headscarves.
